Founded in 1939, Oyama Seicha is a fourth-generation tea producer based in Kumamoto. Today, the company is run by just four family members. They produce in small batches and oversee everything in-house, from planting and harvesting to processing the finished tea leaves.

Oyama Seicha matcha is made from a single cultivar, Okumidori. Shade-grown tea leaves rich in chlorophyll give the matcha its vivid green color. Smooth and easy, it can be enjoyed on its own in a traditional tea bowl or blended into a matcha latte or dessert.
