Founded in 1921, Kaneyoshi is a fourth-generation soy sauce brewery in the countryside of Fukuoka. "Tachibana" Ponzu is an additive and sugar-free blend of two-year aged soy sauce, yuzu and haruka citrus juices, and rice vinegar. The natural sweetness is balanced by mild citrus acidity, bringing a fresh flavor to fried foods, grilled fish, carpaccio, or salad.
The soy sauce base is a naturally brewed, two-year–aged koikuchi nama-age soy sauce made exclusively with Fukuyutaka soybeans from Kumamoto Prefecture and Chikugoizumi wheat from Kumamoto Prefecture (both grown without pesticides during the cultivation period), along with sun-dried salt from Australia.
