Founded in 1939, Oyama Seicha is a fourth-generation tea producer based in Kumamoto. Today, the company is run by just four family members. They produce in small batches and oversee everything in-house, from growing and harvesting to processing the finished tea leaves.

Hōjicha is made by roasting steamed green tea leaves, producing a warm reddish-brown color and lowering caffeine. This hojicha offers a toasty, nutty flavor with hints of chocolate notes with almost no bitterness, making it ideal for evening relaxation or pairing with meals. Carefully deep-roasted by skilled artisans, it reflects Oyama Seicha’s tradition and care.
