About Shokuya

We import artisanal Japanese kitchen staples like rice, shoyu, tea, vinegar, snacks and spices. "Shokuya” means “food store.”

Founding Story

I incorporated Shokuya in 2020. I spent years researching, discussing, tasting, and preparing. I committed myself 100% in late 2024. We are finally and joyfully launching in early 2026.
